We chose a new home
for our customers.
After 44 years on Long Island, Snow Shed is closing — and we’re handing you to Sno‑Haus, a family-owned shop about 30 minutes west. If you rented a season package with us last year, they have a thank-you waiting for you.

A note from Chad
The hardest part of closing wasn’t the decision. It was figuring out where to send the people who’ve trusted us with their skiing for four decades. I wasn’t going to hand you off to a website or a big-box store where nobody knows your kid’s boot size or what you skied last season.
So I went to the shop I’d send my own family to: Sno‑Haus. Family owned. Outfitting Long Island skiers since 1959. In-house tune shop. Proper bootfitting. Staff who actually ski what they sell. They’ll know your name by the second visit — the same way we tried to.
And a note to our season renters: they’ve got a thank-you waiting for you. Go see them. That was their idea, not mine.
It’s about half an hour west on 347. It’s worth the drive.
